I have always been drawn to the water—a quiet pull that began in childhood. The dark waters of the Northern Atlantic mystery mesmerize me. My mother was born in Maine, and places like Two Lights State Park and Portland Head Light are harbors where I am forever home
That love of water carried me farther south and beyond. Charleston, South Carolina, with its weeping willows and rich history; Jupiter Island and West Palm Beach, Florida, with their calm, sunlit shores; Carolina Beach in Puerto Rico, Gulf Shores, Alabama, and the sparkling beaches of Cancun, Cozumel, Mahahual, Puerto Vallarta, and Punta de Mita in Mexico; Roatan, Honduras; and the tranquil waters of the Bahamas.
